The Electrical Conductors Manufacturing Company is a self-liable company, situated in Kosjeric. The Company has been registered within the Court Register of the Economy Court in Uzice, on 17.01.1991 (registration bookmark 1-1140-00, court record Fi 67/91).
According to the Management Board of the constructing materials manufacturing and trading company - “Grad” Enterprise from Kosjeric decision dated 11th of July 1960, the existing Locksmith and Tinsmith Works Department was extracted from this company and became independent company. Consequently, this organization developed into Trade – Manufacturing – Service Company “Metalac” and, at that time, was employing 16 employees. The Company had kept this name by the 1st of January 1962, and then changed it into Electrical Combine “ELKOK”- Kosjeric.
On the 1st of January 1971, the “ELKOK” company collective decided to incorporate to the Cooper and Brass Mills “Slobodan Penezic – Krcun” from Titovo Uzice. Within the Copper and Brass Mills, “ELKOK” operated as Primary Associated Labour Organisation and on the 1st of July 1970 it got new name – Electrical Conductors Manufacturing Plant “ELKOK” – Kosjeric, again within the Cooper and Brass Mills “Slobodan Penezic – Krcun” from Sevojno.
On the 1st of January 1991, “ELKOK” dissociated from Cooper and Brass Mills and once more became an independent company, changing its name into Electrical Conductors Manufacturing Company “ELKOK” – Kosjeric.
From 02.04.1997 to 04.07.2003 this Company operated as a public company. After the privatisation launched on 04.07.2003 and after selling 70% of the social capital at the public sales, the Company has been registered as a stockholder company, with its majority owner – Mr Bratoljub Babic from Belgrade. |
